Steve-O Maxim

On my page here, I hope to convey what is important in my life.  Family, friends and many things of intrest.  You'll find things about me and maybe you'll be able to understand what drives the ole Maximus.

About me.  I was born in Lewiston, Maine exactly 28 years ago today on Jan. 31, 1979.  Lived most of my younger days in Winthrop and I've wonderd on back for the older days still to come.  I went to Winthrop High School and did three sports.  If it wasn't for sports I would've gotten in more trouble than I did.  After school I joined the Marines just around the same time period as 4 others that I graduated with and played football with.  Then the next phase of my life was work outside of the military.  It took me a good 3 years to figure out what I wanted to do and love it.  So, now here I am working in construction doing concrete slabs, steps, sidewalks, and some prep work.  Been at it for 3 years now.  This is a little bout me.

Even if I don't put much text on my home page, it's a good idea to include hidden tools that will help me promote my site, so people other than my friends and family actually see it. For example, I could add meta tags, which are hidden codes that allow search engines to find my site. I could also install stats and a counter so I know how many people are visiting. If not many are visiting, submitting my site to search engines will guide more traffic to my site.
